Individual Therapy

Are you processing a new diagnosis of cancer, or trying to manage post-cancer trauma? Are you caring for a loved one with a serious illness? Are you grieving the recent death of "your person"? I have many clients in your shoes and I look forward to working with you, too. Since COVID, I meet with all clients on Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing website, for video sessions. This system is convenient, portable, and confidential.

Psychosocial Evaluations for Immigration Cases

I am specially trained to assist you if you need a psychosocial evaluation to support your immigration case. We will meet for an in-depth interview and the completion of several psychological scales to determine your mental health symptoms.  I’ll work closely with your immigration attorney and provide you with a final copy of the report. A thorough, well-written psychosocial assessment can be advantageous for immigration proceedings such as:

  • Asylum cases

  • Hardship waivers

  • T visas

  • U visas

  • VAWA cases

  • Cancellation of removal

Advanced Care Planning Sessions

Let's talk through what you envision for your healthcare in the future. Gain support to help you communicate with loved ones about what you want. I can facilitate these conversations and help you put your wishes in writing. I can also provide referrals to a family law attorney for further assistance with wills and power of attorney documentation.

Consultation Services

Not everyone is ready and able to start ongoing therapy. I am happy to schedule a consultation session to discuss your situation and to provide support and guidance, without committing to a regular therapy schedule. One example of when a consultation could be helpful is for parents of young children or teens to discuss supporting their child through a parent, grandparent, or sibling’s serious illness or death.
